Yes folks, in the 1950's it was claimed that nicotine was a physical stimulant that would lead to exercise and thus fitness. Just as cocaine was in the late 50's - early 60's, with the added benefit of increased brain power. All true, and believable even by researchers until empirical data began to show the substances caused the body and mind to crash and burn.

Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your point of view, as each individual is born, they need to learn this on their own. Therefore, no legislation or prohibition will ever change the scenario.
